By 2030, the Toa Payoh Integrated Development (TPID) will provide residents with various indoor and sheltered sports facilities, including a 10,000-seater stadium and community amenities. This development, situated between Lorong 6 and the PIE, aims to rejuvenate Toa Payoh town.

Replacing the former Toa Payoh Sport Centre, which closed on Oct 31, 2023, the TPID will feature a 2,000-seater aquatic centre with four indoor pools, three outdoor leisure pools, a 5,000-seater indoor hall with 22 badminton courts, team sports halls, a gym, and sheltered futsal, tennis, and netball courts.

Additionally, the 12-hectare site will house a new polyclinic, an expanded library, and an upgraded town park with the iconic lookout tower, a dog run, and an allotment garden.
